Howdy there partners and welcome to our "About Us" section. First off we would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our website, Ride a Wish is featuring the hottest country night to hit the capital in 2014. We would like to introduce the Cowgirls behind this amazing event, we have Jack Daniels Jillian, Rodeo Rider Rimi, Cowgirl Kimberly, Kansas Kicking Karinne, and last but not least Two Stepping Taylor. We will be your hosts for "Save a Horse, Ride a Wish" hitting the city on Thursday March 20, 2014. All five Cowgirls are Event Management Students at Algonquin College, planning this event on zero dollar budget, with the proceeds of the evening going to the Children's Wish Foundation. Our live entertainment will surely get you two stepping so saddle up for a fun filled night - So dust of them hats, put on them boots and join us for "Save a Horse, Ride a Wish".

       A big thank you goes out to the foundation that works day and night to grant the wishes of children across Canada. 

 

      Children's Wish is a national non-profit organization dedicated to fulfilling a favourite wish for children diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses. The National Capital Region Chapter has been granting wishes since 1985. With more than 28 years of wish granting, the organization has granted more than $20,000 wishes for the children and their families all over Canada. Every day this wonderful organization grants three children their wishes and fulfills 1000 wishes annually. The Children Wish Foundation has partnered with the event management students of Algonquin College as the beneficiary of the students’ events that will raise money to help Children’s Wish. Our Program has made it our goal to raise 1 million dollars and has already raised nearly $445, 000 dollars.
